“I love the coastal mountains of Southern California. I’ve
spent a lot of weekends and vacation time there.” Says
multiple award-winning COLT Studio owner/director John Rutherford.
“It’s always been in the back of my mind that the
coastal hills of Malibu would be a great place to shoot a video.”
These are mountains on a much friendlier scale than the giant
Sierras further north and east - Scenic but still easy to get
around on.
But the best scenery was the scenery Rutherford brought with
him! COLT Men

for new settings to photograph the men I truly believe are the

I didn’t use this location earlier; the area was such a

Northern California’s southern neighbor of Malibu’s

latest feature take place outside amid scenery that they just
look right in. The first scene is the one that’s indoors,
but it’s in a cabin indicative of the great Southern California
wilderness that serves as the backdrop for the other three.
While John Rutherford knew this area well, it was a new discovery
for COLT Man Exclusives Carlo Masi and Chris Wide. As Europeans,
the pair was more used to the kind of wilderness that’s
closely framed by the evidence of thousands of years of human
habitation. Both fell in love with the coastal mountains of
Southern California, where they could feel in the middle of
nowhere. They rose to the occasion, as did the rest of this
perfectly cast feature with a mix of some of COLT’s most

Casting COLT Men
Once John Rutherford decided to take his COLT Men out to the
country, he had to decide which COLT Men would be making the
journey with him to make this latest release a scorching video
in the classic COLT tradition! First to be cast, of course,
were the COLT Man Exclusives… the men who can only be seen
in COLT features. Fan favorites who have followers who keep
an
eagle-eye looking for the latest magazine, calendar or video
featuring their favorite COLT Men!
Superstar COLT Man Exclusive Carlo Masi, of course, was chosen.
The Italian
bodybuilder, last seen in WIDE STROKES, has put in powerfully
sexy
performances in many of John Rutherford’s COLT features,
and fans have
noticed. Rutherford, of course, has watched fan reaction and
moved Masi up to the top rung of COLT Man Exclusives.
Next cast was uber-sexy Chris Wide, named for those uber-wide
bodybuilder shoulders. After only five previous features for
Rutherford, the big German has built a fan base of his own!

the first and the final. Then Rutherford looked through the
videos of the would-be COLT MEN of the future and decided that
there were two who looked ready to make their COLT debuts in
Man Country. Newcomer COLT Man Jesse Balboa looked good enough
to be picked for two scenes, the mark of someone who Rutherford
feels particularly good about! And newcomer COLT Man Marco Conte
was chosen to round out the cast of this signature COLT production!
Scene Breakdown
The four potent and powerful scenes of Man Country are brought
to throbbing life by a great cast of four COLT Men Exclusives
and three stand-up COLT Men, two of which are appearing on the
COLT screen for the first time. Scene one takes place in a small
rustic cabin, where we see COLT Man Jake Andrews and COLT Man
Jesse Balboa in a passionate embrace. Jake turns up the heat
