ETHAN KAGE: I am from a small, rural town in Arkansas. I got my start in Falcon's Cross Country. At that time I had been dating Matthew Rush for a couple of months, and he was begging me to go to New Zealand with him. I had the free time so I went. He was scheduled to do a scene with this really hot guy from Kansas City, but for whatever reason this guy backed out at the last minute. Matthew was struggling to find a new scene partner, and I popped off, "you know I will be there for you if you need me." An hour later Chris Steele was on the phone and talking to me about doing the scene. I thought about it for a couple of days, discussed it with Matthew, and decided to go for it. How was
your model name "Ethan Kage" created? If you didn't create
it, who gets the credit? ETHAN KAGE: Actually I get half credit and Matthew Rush gets the other half. It was while driving in NZ that we came up with the name. I have always found the name Ethan sexy and thought it fit my character for Cross Country. Matthew came up with Kage; he thought it had a good porn ring to it. We were in the van with Adam (from Falcon production), Roman Heart and Erik Rhodes; they all agreed the name Ethan Kage was the one for me. How much of a whirlwind has it been since filming Cross Country and becoming an exclusive? ETHAN KAGE: It has been like Hurricane Wilma... a constant whirlwind and a bitch at times. I became an exclusive in May 2005 and went right to work filming Up All Night and Beefcake. Then travel and appearances began lining themselves up, taking up a ton of my time towards the end of the year. What was the thing you remember most about filming Up All Night? ETHAN KAGE: I will never forget how ridiculously hot it was in the loft (where I shot my scene). Tyler Hill and I absolutely soaked each other, the sheets and the pillows. I don't know if the sweat showed up on film, but I know we were both drenched the whole time. You got your first boxcover for Up All Night... How did that make you feel when you found out? How did you feel when you first saw it on a store shelf? ETHAN KAGE: I was pretty oblivious to the honor that came with being on the cover of (only) my second movie. But after everyone kept telling me how impressive it was, I began to understand. I appreciate Falcon's choice to use my image to market the production. I don't go into porn stores much, so I haven't seen it on the shelf. But having seen the great photo Mick Hicks took of me, I am sure I would be proud to see it there. Erik (Rhodes) and Arpad (Miklos) are both pretty tall guys. Did you feel like you were in the middle of a tall guy sandwich at times? ETHAN KAGE: I certainly did! I am only 5'10", and both of those guys towered over me. Plus they have a lot more experience in the biz than I do. Needless to say I was a little bit intimidated and nervous. I have only seen photos from that scene, but I think it turned out pretty hot. Do you
have a personal preference when it comes to being a top or bottom
in your scenes? What

of guy do you like to fuck when you are a top? ETHAN KAGE: As a rule, Matthew and I will only bottom on film for each other. We do hear those humbling comments quite often but we really don't see ourselves that way at all. enjoy listening to a variety of music, f rom pop to dance and even
